I just learned of your mom''s death from Carol. Please accept my deepest sympathy. Given our parents'' ages, death is not unexpected; but goodbyes are never easy. May you find comfort in your shared memories.

I have not talked to Mother yet, but I''m sure it was very meaningful for her to spend some time at your mom''s side after she had passed.

This also seems like an appropriate time to say "thank you" for visiting my mother when you came to see your own mother. And Lynne, thanks for your thoughtfulness in sending Mother flowers. What a day brightener they were for her!

God bless all of you in this time of loss.

Lishia,

I just saw you posted this. Sorry for your loss. I like to think that maybe your grandma and my Nonny found each other and are friends like you and I are.

Chuck and Lynne and families:

Vincent and I extend our sincere condolences on the loss of your mother. I have many wonderful memories of spending time with your family in my youth in Wabasha and do understand the loss of a parent. May Gertrude rest in peace and may you and yours know grace and comfort in your time of grieving.
