Craig J. Zittel, age 52, of Nelson, WI, died of an apparent heart attack in his sleep on Monday, July 30, 2012 in Sparks, NV. He was a truck driver employed by California Overland of Wabasha. He was born December 14, 1959 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Arthur and Doris Zittel. He has worked for California Overland since February, 2008.
He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Jones, Nelson, WI; grandson, Aric Adams, Jr., Nelson, WI; brothers, Brian and Dean Zittel, both of Milwaukee, WI; close friends, Wayne and Chris Schmitz, Pepin, WI, Russell Meyer, Theilman, MN, Greg Moyer, Lake City, MN, and Tom Hinds, Milwaukee, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 10, 2012 at 7:30pm at the Abbott Funeral Home in Wabasha with Reverend James Clausen officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5pm until the time of service.
