Bonnie Mae (Weis) Hanlon daughter of Art and Mazel Weis was born December 17, 1927 in Eden Lake Township. She Graduated from Eden Valley (MN) High School and went on to graduate from St. Cloud Teachers College. Bonnie was united in marriage to James Hanlon in 1948, in Eden Valley. She taught school in Eden Valley until they moved to Crystal, MN where she taught at St. Raphael’s Catholic School. In 1960 they moved to Moorhead, MN where Bonnie taught at St. Francis de Sales until her retirement.
Bonnie died September 23, 2019, resident of St. Elizabeth’s Nursing Home in Wabasha, MN at the age of 91.
She is survived by one son Thomas Hanlon, Webster, WI; one daughter Linda (Michael) Silvey, Vero Beach, FL; one grandchild Justin Silvey, Vancouver, WA; one brother Billy Weis, Delano, MN; and one sister Kae Eisenhuth, St. Paul, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband James Hanlon.
